Acceptance of Terms
Effective October 14, 2026.
A MarketerMatch subscription opens matching, ranked shortlists and direct contact with marketers or businesses for the whole billing period, from the moment it is paid. Because access begins at once, subscription fees are final. They are returned only in the three cases described below.
What Your Subscription Pays For
Business Pro, Marketer Pro and Enterprise are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. The fee covers access to the platform during the period. Work agreed between a business and a marketer is paid directly between them and is outside this policy, so any dispute about a campaign, a deliverable or an invoice from a marketer is settled between those two parties.
When a Fee Is Kept
The fee does not depend on how many matches turn into engagements. It stays paid when, for example:
- a shortlist did not lead to a hire, or the business decided to keep marketing in house,
- a marketer received fewer enquiries in the period than hoped,
- an engagement found through the platform ended early or did not deliver the results expected,
- the account was not used, or used only briefly, during the paid period,
- a yearly plan was picked and the subscriber later wanted to stop sooner,
- renewal went through because it was still switched on,
- the account was suspended or closed for breaching the Terms of Service.
The Three Exceptions
Charged twice. When a mistake on our side charged the same plan for the same period more than once, we return the duplicate in full.
Charged without permission. When a card was used without the holder's permission and this is reported to us within 14 days of the charge, we review the payment record and the account activity. If the charge is confirmed as unauthorized, we return it and close the account it paid for.
Platform completely down. When MarketerMatch was fully unavailable to you for a long part of a paid period through a fault on our side, and you reported it while it was happening, we may return the share of the fee for the time it was down. Slow loading, a single failed message or an unanswered enquiry is not an outage.
Returned amounts go back to the card that paid and are never higher than the fee for that period.
How to Request a Review
Write to [email protected] from the email address on your account within 14 days of the charge. Include the date, the amount and the exception you are relying on. Every request receives a written answer.
Cancelling and Switching Plans
Turning off renewal on your billing page stops future charges. It does not undo a charge already made, and there are no prorated returns for the rest of a month or year. Access continues until the paid period ends. Moving to a higher plan or from monthly to yearly billing charges the difference right away. Moving to a lower plan applies from the next renewal and returns nothing to the card.
Renewals and Retried Charges
Subscriptions renew automatically at the start of each period while renewal is on. A failed renewal remains due and our payment operator retries it. A completed renewal is final under this policy.
Records We Keep
For each subscription we keep the acceptance of the terms at checkout, the activity log of the account (sign-ins, profile changes, matches and messages) and the payment record held by our payment operator, including the 3D Secure result. These records are used when we review a request or a dispute.
Disputes With Your Bank
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. Filing a chargeback on a valid charge without writing to us first is a breach of the terms, and we may close the account while the dispute is open. We provide the records above to the card network so it can decide.
Starting Right Away
By completing checkout you ask for access to begin immediately. Where consumer law gives a right to withdraw from a contract for digital services, you agree that this right ends once access has begun.
Earlier Payments
Payments made before October 14, 2026 remain under the terms in force when they were made.
